Ethereal Bridesmaids

JLM Couture have the most enchanting bridesmaids collection that I have seen in a long time. Classic shapes with a bohemian flare and indulgent draping makes these dresses both stylish and serene.

In my view, they are perfect for mismatching shapes to suit your girl’s figures without compromising on style.

Unfortunately they are not available in the UAE yet but see here for their stores in the UK and US.

Flower Girls

Choosing the right look for your flower girls can be quite tricky which is why I’ve come up with this little bundle of photographs; possible the sweetest photographs ever to grace these pages.

Think ballerina meets fairy for this inspiring lot. Plenty of tulle, fresh flowers and big sashes. Gorgeous.

Floral Bridesmaids

There has been an ongoing and rising trend in dressing your bridesmaids in floral dresses and I love it. If your dream day is country chic, has vintage tones or if you’re loving the idea of a complete mismatch then consider dressing your most loved girls in floral.

It’s beautifully feminine and adds an immediate vast colour palette to your day to play with; its unrestricted and that is where the real beauty lies. With no colour or style constraints the result is relaxed and playful.

Mismatch in particular is a great option for expat brides as no doubt your girls will be located in the far corners of the globe and this takes away from the stress of having everyone match.

It’s  not for everyone, but if you’re converting a floral dress for yourself then scroll down for some of my favourites from the high street.

Where to buy on the high street:

Bridesmaids on the High Street

The high street is perfect for finding the right  dresses for a relaxed, stylish and mismatched bridesmaids. Choose wisely and it also cuts out the headache of that all important price tag too. Just remember to get them well ahead of the wedding date so an unsuspecting guest doesn’t turn up on the same outfit; they may think that they’ve been promoted for the day which could be seriously awkward!

I am currently torn between vibrant and neutral colours so here is a selection of both:
