Bold colours are definitely making waves in the wedding world at the moment so today is all about the little known colour chartreuse. Somewhere between yellow and green lies chartreuse; a bold statement of a colour that I love.
Immortalised in Jason Wu’s wedding dress, chartreuse is back on the fashion radar and making its way into weddings. Used in the right way chartreuse can bring zest into your wedding décor.
This is one of those weddings that I wish I had been invited to because it looks that amazing. Traditional Hindu customs combine with modern décor to make this a truly spectacular day. The bright colours of an Indian wedding means that these images literally jump out and grab your attention and boy will you be glad that they do. As ever, Lacie Hansen has captured ever aspect of Nicole and Hiten’s day beautifully and I am genuinely thankful that I have the pleasure of sharing it with you. Enjoy you gorgeous lot.
Neon is continuing to trend in the fashion world which I love because it immediately makes me smile. I noticed with great delight at the British Polo Day that almost every man was wearing bright popping coloured trousers – bright colours are firmly on the fashion radar at the moment.
Translated into weddings, bright colours are a brilliant way of creating an instant ‘feel-good’ vibe. The great thing about neon and bright colours is that you don’t need a lot of it to make a real impact. Blush and neon is a really fresh and fun colour palette to experiment with.
Whether it’s a whole lot of colour or just a few splashes, bright colours are the perfect way to add warmth and style to your wedding day.
