Winter Weddings

I had to crank up the ac and fetch a jumper out to really get in the snuggle mood for this post. Winter is a phenomenon not akin to the desert but there are of course lots of you lovely lot who are planning their wintery day elsewhere in the world. Snow on the ground, bright blue sky and crisp cold air is romance on a plate.

Cosy brides

Surely one of the best things about being a winter bride is the extra shrug that you need to buy. Whether it’s chic and furry or a bright and snuggly cardigan, winter brides get to add a whole new look to their day and make for some of the best portrait photographs.

Tablescapes

Think rustic with holly, berries and mistletoe and blend with some sparkling metallics to create winter table heaven.

Festive Foods

Hot chocolate, mulled wine, mince pies and of course a santa strawberry – my new favourite find. In fact, I would have a winter wedding just to serve the yummy Mr Clause.

Its all in the details

With so much lovely natural faun and woody smells around at this time of year it’s a shame not to take advantage of it. Whether you’re more ski lodge or cosy mountain retreat, there are lots of festive touches that you can incorporate into your day.
