Paula and Joseph were married on Chinese New Year (10th February 2013) in a beautiful intimate wedding day captured by Melissa Beatti Photography. This is the kind of day that makes you realise just how unimportant all those details that you’re currently worrying about are. Although, the Louboutin’s are a triumphant detail in my opinion!
Intimate beach shots, a dress to yearn for and eye popping flowers make this day a complete lust-fest.
Just you and me…
The Vision for the day was ‘Less is more, a cosy small celebration’. It was a very intimate but extremely lovely Wedding. The ceremony was held at Jebel Ali Christ Church, followed by an afternoon tea in place of a reception at Al Fayrooz lounge at Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah.
Some may call it Couture
Paula wore a handmade dress from the USA which was purchased before the proposal (love that!) and Joseph wore a tailored suit purchased in Thailand. The oversized bow on the back of this dress had me stroking the computer screen; dress heaven. The bouquet was a stunning statement of 14 fucsia roses, tied with a hessian bow.
Out with a Bang
To finish off the day there was a firework display at the Burj al Arab as it was also Chinese New Year. The wedding cake was a traditional Brazilian chocolate cake (brigadeiro cake) with Irish Galway crystal topper which was one of Paula’s favourite details of the day as it was something traditional from each of their countries.
